The Whiskey Sky
Ran faster than windy storm,
Two lovers can’t wait to share,
Eternal euphoric stare and one ecstatic kiss,
The full moon, a loyal friend,
Silvered the fortress hills,
The horse saw the half-naked tree,
After the horse was gone,
There wasn’t a blink of joy,
There wasn’t a wink of sleep,
‘I’ve missed your soft husky whisper,
I’ve missed your mighty roots,
I’ve missed your gentle heartbeat’,
With excitement the horse reared up,
In its ambitious attempt,
To give a passionate kiss,
The tree tried to reach its desire,
Nearly breaking
its spine,
It didn’t obey the Beaufort scale,
It acquired the stiffest pride,
An ecstatic kiss didn’t happen,
‘Don’t mind,
Another time’,
The tree rustled ‘I have been waiting,
You didn’t but winter came,
It claimed my lush leaves,
Now my voice is much weaker,
Nobody has been the same,
Since our fate was re-written’,
‘You are my towering marvel,
You give so beautiful love’,
Neighing with admiration,
It lied down to feel the escape,
The tree shed the remains of the armor,
Protecting the horse from cold,
Out of freezing air,
Venomous laughter
rained from above,
A black, cross and grumpy cloud,
Was chuckling with potbellied grace,
‘It must be the end of the world,
What a weird, unmatched love!
I have been cruising the sky,
I saw the weirdest things,
But the love between a horse and a
tree,
It’s an artifact of an eye’,
The black with a bad taste cloud,
Set off to spread the news,
It was its biggest marvel,
It loved to spoil wonder,
Belonging with happy ones,
Everywhere there are grumpy creatures,
They couldn’t find their joy,
They didn’t strive to find their passion,
They are ever jealous of a beautiful love,
Who cared about envy and gossip?
About ‘what do they think?’
Some cloud cried one vesper,
Sunshine smiled one morning,
But someone was very unhappy,
The horse was his only possession,
He strived to find his peace of mind.
