What Does The Cat Purr In Your Ear?

After Words

A passerby doesn’t hurry,

He may like walking in drizzling rain,

Suddenly he stops,

Something upsets his thinking,

He reads the top headline,

Running across the local newspaper front page,

It says that someone whose name is well-known was removed from life support,

It happened yesterday morning,

It means today is late,

He was from a lot of places,

He lived everywhere,

He was born far away,

He left and never came back,

After he spent thirty years in a coma,

He died peacefully in New York,

He was a man of savoir vivre,

An artist, a writer, a poet, a maker,

A party hearty type,

An enemy and a friend,

He didn’t knew what was a writer’s block,

He was a giver,

He was a taker,

The multitude thought he was an idol,

His opponents thought he was a stain,

A colorful one on white clothes,

Everyone wants to remove it,

But it usually leaves persistent orange and green specks,

His boheme life had many shadows,

They say he was a passionate man,

He loved alcohol and women,

And any kind of entertainment,

It couldn’t be called noble,

Once it even turned into a nightmare,

Causing a constant dread,

A satin frilled white body was liquefying and turning red,

Melting the frozen pavement,

Attracting gaping onlookers,

She was a famous singer,

She fell to her infamous death,

She jumped out of his bedroom window,

Somebody said she left a curse,

 She didn’t leave a note,

Entangling, obscuring the mystery of her winter suicide,

The cause of her transparent death,

Later a lot of things happened,

He never failed to impress,

He started to settle down,

Enjoying a simple life,

He lived with his long-term girlfriend,

People’s attitude stayed the same,

Bipolar, loving and hating,

Nevertheless schoolgirls were supposed to go red,

Bowing their heads and lowering their eyes,

Every time they saw him,

The newspaper spread hosts his story,

He always aroused discussions ending with question marks,

During his life he despised earthly worries,

During his silent travel to death,

He became a renowned medical case,

Let’s say one of professors’ highlights.
